PERSONALITY:

Much like looking at someone through a fog, there is a lot hidden about Ramuda. Ramuda gives off an air of how he wants others to see him and he plays the part perfectly in that regard. Using his charms and appearance to his advantage he gets what he wants and gives what he wants to others.

Small and cute looking with a high pitched voice, it’s easy to see how people could be fooled into thinking Ramuda is some airheaded and dumb kid. Ramuda knows how to turn on the charisma and charm to get what he wants, such as flirting with girls to get more models for his fashion designs. He is far from ashamed to play that child-like side to seem more approachable. Ramuda is a good example of how nothing is ever really free.

Beneath that, Ramuda is sly with a quick wit to match. While playing dumb, he gathers information and uses it to his advantage. With this perceptive nature he’s able to watch and read people to figure out the best way to approach and gain their trust. He uses that information to bend things in his favor. Rather manipulative in many ways, people who know his real nature tend to be wary of him. Only a very few have seen his true nature. Even if a small crack shows in his mask, he is quick to deflect the conversation to another subject or even turn the question back on the other person.

Despite appearing happy-go-lucky and playful for the most part, he can switch to serious painfully fast. Others are uncertain what trigger causes make him to break his usual character. This leads to Ramuda showing a glimpse of something very different before he pushes back to his playful self. This confuses others, adding to the mysterious nature that Ramuda has created. You can’t really tell what he’s thinking or where a conversation might lead.

Despite being good at hiding behind a mask, there are times when Ramuda’s darker side shines through. When he is pushed or things don’t go his way, he becomes more aggressive and sometimes lashes out. He switches from sweet to a more cutting and hostile personality. It is clear he doesn't like being pushed by others, such as when Gentaro tries to pry about The Dirty Dawg’s breakup. This wilder side of Ramuda also shows when he uses his mic, fighting with the intent to show off and prove something.

Ramuda values information more than people. He sides with those that can provide him information or entertainment. That leads him to having his hands in a lot of different pots that even those close to Ramuda might not know about, such as his alliance with Chuukou. This can lead to distrust with others and misunderstandings, especially with his tendency to dance around subjects and avoid certain questions. There is always a fine line he walks with people, just on the edge of pushing them too far or them becoming more distrustful. However, he usually can find ways finds ways to play it off so they still find parts of him endearing.

With a lot of Ramuda’s intentions hidden beneath the surface, it makes it difficult for people to know what he really wants or what he is searching for. There is always this feeling that something is going on with him behind the scenes. There is very little that can be called straightforward about the rapper. While sometimes he seems to show a genuine smile and factually be enjoying himself, it is hard to tell how close he allows others.

One common theme with Ramuda’s intentions with rapping and using the hypnosis mic is tied to the statement “changing the world”. He wants to change the world in some way but how and what drives him to do this is unclear at this time. What is clear is that he has a goal in mind. Even before the formation of The Dirty Dawg, Ramuda got close enough to those in charge to be granted a hypnosis mic, using it to do a mission but also to satisfy whatever personal plan he has.

While his speakers appear cute, bonbon candies with wrappers around them, it’s his lyrics that hint at his harsh and cruel nature. One such line being “I’ll make your brainstems go BANG”, causing the enemies to collapse to the ground like they had been shot in the head. Even when one of them still has the strength to talk and begs for Ramuda to stop he refuses with a smile.

While we don’t completely know what caused the downfall of The Dirty Dawg, it is clear that it was ugly and caused an especially harsh rift to form between Jakurai and Ramuda. Ramuda is still aiming for his goal, but how he goes about it is ultimately what changes. Notably, the tone of his verses during The Dirty Dawg and what it is now with his new group Fling Posse has changed.

Ramuda uses various information sources to dig up info on potential members for a unit, leading him to choose Gentaro and Dice. His reasons are still somewhat unclear. He finds both of them interesting and useful, but they all have their secrets. With Fling Posse, Ramuda’s raps are less harsh and cruel, now more “bubbly”. He even raps about wanting to work together with his team. This change may be Ramuda trying to fly under the radar or portraying himself as vulnerable in order to gain trust. Despite his new tone, his verses still hit hard and suggest that he hasn’t lost his touch and could demolish people if given a reason. It’s just muted now. While Fling Posse’s formation may have started as a means to an end, over time they grow closer, despite Ramuda seeming to want to avoid this likely because of the breakup of TDD.

POWERS/ABILITIES:

Hypnosis mic: From a world where physical violence is banded. The power of words are now the way people establish territories and end arguments with one another. So as a holder of a hypnosis mic, Ramuda is able to use the power of words to fight others. This means when he starts a battle the mic takes on a form that suits him and speakers form around him. It is also noted that with Ramuda's mic it holds the power to cause hallucinations in others he battles against.
